MullicaHill.com is operated by the Mullica Hill Business Association (MHBA), a local business organization serving Harrison Township, New Jersey. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our website.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Create a member account (name, email address, phone number)
• Register a business listing (business name, address, description, hours, contact information)
• Submit a membership payment (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your credit card number)
• Submit content such as blog posts, events, or map updates for approval
• Send us a message through the contact form (name, email, message content)

We also collect limited technical information automatically, described in the Cookies & Analytics section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and display the business directory and interactive map
• Process membership applications and payments
• Publish approved member-submitted content (events, blog posts)
• Respond to contact form messages
• Send membership-related communications (renewal reminders, association updates)
• Understand how people use our site so we can improve it

Payment Processing

Membership payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you make a payment, your card details are sent directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card, and a transaction reference.

Cookies & Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies or collect personal data. It provides us with anonymous, aggregate information about page views and visits.

We store a small piece of data in your browser's localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference. This is not a cookie, is never sent to our servers, and contains no personal information.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Cloudflare D1 (database) and Cloudflare R2 (images and files). Both services are operated by Cloudflare, Inc. and are hosted within their global network. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

Account passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plain text.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the site: Cloudflare (hosting, database, analytics), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your Rights

You may request to:

• View the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
